Stage 1: Vauderens - Col du Jaun / Jaunpass - Interlaken - Iseltwald. All paved road. Nice descent from Jaunpass, speed peaks up to 75 km/h. Place to stay: Strandhotel in Iseltwald.
Riding time: 5:30 hours, 110 km, 2000 m uphill.

Stage 2: Brienz - Guttannen - Grimselpass / col du Grimsel (2164 m) - leave the paved road behind, ride around the Totesee and descend a single trail then dirt road down to Oberwald - nice dirt road on the lef side of the Rhône river till Ernen - turn right to Ausserbinn - Binn. Place to stay: Hotel Ofenhorn, Binn.
Riding time: 7 hours, 98 km, 2000 m uphill

Stage 3: Passo dell'Arbola / Albrunpass included about 2 hours pushing and carrying - first hour downhill was still carrying - great dirt track to Alpe Devero / Lago di Devero - then all paved road again: Domodossola - Verbania, ferry boat to Laveno - Luino - Swiss border in Ponte Tresa - Pura (15 km from Lugano).
Riding time: 9:30 hours, 130 km, 2000 m uphill

We arrived in Pura (Ticino) well after midnight. The ladies greeted us with champagne.
