A word on photographs and copyright

 All pictures copyrighted! Use on private or commercial web sites as well as print publications is strictly forbidden.

Whenever I was able to, I contacted (or am planning to contact) the picture owners to get permission. If you unexpectedly find a picture of yours on this site, please let me know, so I can add appropriate credits or remove the picture. Credits are listed on the pages or in the picture's alternate text (move the the mouse over the photograph to see it).
