 This XK 150 was converted to an estate car in 1968. It got its nickname from its role in towing race car trailers and an aeroplane (!). Beside that, it participated in hill climbs and amateur race meetings. After a full restoration in 1997 it is now a pretty as ever. See full story for details.
 

Der Übername "Tow Car" (Abschleppwagen) stammt von der Anhängerkupplung, die beim Kombi-Umbau 1968 installiert wurde. Das Auto wurde dazu verwendet, Anhänger mit ERA Rennwagen zu schleppen, oder auch mal ein Flugzeug von der Landebahn zu holen. Nach einer vollständigen Restaurierung im Jahre 1997 ist der Tow Car heute noch in perfektem Zustand. Lesen Sie die Geschichte.
 

Forse la più bella trasformazione di una Jaguar XK finora. Le modifiche si fecero nel 1968 per adibirla al trasporto di vetture da corsa per un garage situato presso il circuito di Silverstone. Dopo un lungo periodo di inattività fu completamente ristaurata nel 1997.
